This is true, though even an armor without -30 reqs and life that has 2 soc and 65 ed is still lesser in my opinion. Incredible, but id prefer this.

-30 req = 30 stats + 34 life = 124 life on a pally, and 154 on a barb.

The high defense, 1-2 socket ancients that exist now are still amazing though (diablo2g's, ass_hat's, Nickxcore's, Justin's, Skyball's, and any others im missing)

Certainly 10/10 but I think a 65ED 2os armor is much better. Assuming you used 14max/-req jewels without a 4th affix, you would gain 34life/12max from this armor, which is nowhere near as useful as 145 base defense. Just my opinion.
