i think 102 is necessary vs any decent druid or sorc, esp with the meta in d2r being to spam and tele - and i prefer gores on my sin so the dex isn't a wasted mod but the res is
vs. a fire sorc, its plenty ez to get the needed res you are wanting without fade, therefore can use BoS. up to 60 from rings, 110 from SCs = 240 res from anya + torch + anya. you only need 175 or 180 if vex circlet which isnt ideal anymore due to need cham to beat off (in b4 joke here) chilling armor. Then still plenty of res to cover any -res they unlikely have.
vs. a cold sorc, you want 65 setup as to use raven frost so you dont get killed by a random blizz. If vs. l8z blizz, then can go 102 but would use a 2/17/60ish cold res amulet and then cold stack rings. Dropping to suwayyah chaos for 5fpa ww instead of 4fpa as to not need so much dex from gear, allowing much more flexibility is stacking cold res, including crafted boots with cold res on them.
vs. lightning sorc, who cares
vs. a druid, you can argue going 102, but thats really only necessary vs. a l8z druid. This is the only place where i would consider runic, but would go with dancers for better FHR to chase this l8z whores and easier to start ww sequence if you get stomped. vs. druid, its not really a duel in which you get alot of value from Gores as this isn't really a duel where you need big damage, you just need the chances to stomp them, which dancesr provides more than your gores. Thus making dex easy to get.
There just isnt much reaosn to dex on ammy, since dancers + 30 dex from rings = exactly how much dex you need.
Additionally, as a ghost, most dump points into dex anyway, limiiting your need from tons of swaps with dex.
