I mean u could go for 102 fcr with 2 sox instead of 2 sin, which is imo >>> then 2 sin in most use cases.
For d2r it’s for sure harder to build a good hybrid, since awsm bug isn’t working anymore. So it’s even more important to go 2 sox over 2 sin if u ask me. At least u got some spare points due to the synergy and the %light dmg changes.
Just my personal thoughts of a spider player.
There aren’t 102 claws.
For 65, the +2 sin is much more valuable than 2 socket as it gives you 2 sin, 2 mastery, 2 weapon block, 2 shadow master and 2 MB, 2 blade shield. That is of more value than an extra socket.
Thr whole point of hybrid is to be be balanced between LS and physical in your 65 setup. If you go prioritize physical over LS, you just become a shitty ghost that does both less damage and has less survivability due to a lower WB % while having abysmal LS damage. If you go to heavy on trap side, you have no survivability and your WW damage is really only from Um rune, giving you no reason to have an erep claw or claw with ED on it.
This is the fundamental continued misunderstanding about how to build hybrid and it started in LoD and persisted in d2r due to the vast amounts of misinformation spread about how to build them.
These 2 claws are unequivocally the 2 best hybrid claws in the game for 65fcr currently, and for slightly different reasons. The one on the left will enable you to have 90-95% of the WW damage output a high end ghost has, while having 7500 LS damage and 60% WB (compared to a ghosts 62-63%) while having max trap speed and max WW speed after arach slow
The one on the right, depending on how you build your sin, will allow you to have 8610-10,500 LS damage depending on gear choices in 65 FCR setup while having 50-66% of the WW damage output of a ghost with 60% WB and lvl 41 MB. You will also have max trap speed after arach slow and max WW speed after arach slow.
The play styles between the 2 different as the first one you are willing to trade WWs with a ghost if you have 5 LS up in an area. The second one is more about finesse and you are trying o keep LS up while WWijg away from a ghost, trying to apply OW from WW quickly while your opponent is getting hit by some LS, then teleing away to reset up
LS fields while mb locking opponent to stop their assault, allowing OW to deal damage. Rinse and repeat til they are low and then full engage them with LS field + WW
In d2r, you primarily only go 65 in sin v sin and vs some zons.
For 102 you just go um um fools gt of quickness and call it a day for a budget hybrid. Or 2sin/30+ias/foola/3ls/2os if you want top claws. vs Druid but you Um + 15ias jewel with cham circlet using this same setup for most others as well due to needing cbf and max trap speed
