does it matter what i did to see the ilvl if there really was a way to change ilvls?

The odds of someone accidentally changing the ilvl to 1 is quite low, so it would still be nice to know how you determined the ilvl. It seems that you are unwilling to say what you did. Did you manually breakdown the received item packets?

just because they fixed a method doesnt mean there arent other working methods (just look at the dupes)

Either way, the thought that someone is importing items is ludicrous. A single item might have an ilvl that appears to be unusual and everyone jumps on it thinking there is some large conspiracy. Let me guess, the Apollo 11 moon landings were fake?
