You keep on compensating your lack of weapon damage with DS because you are using a shit weapon base.

You can still hit 6 frame barb with 40ias LS, 20ias gloves, 15ias hat, 15ias shield. While still being able to use Angelics.

LS has around 20% more base damage than phase blade, thus scaling your damage much than phase blade. And thus getting more value out of your double damage chance (critical strike + deadly strike formula above), because doubling a larger number is a larger increase.

All in all, it’s clear you don’t understand how the second simplest dueling group in d2r functions, melee. Just like you can’t seem to grasp the simplest dueling group, pure smite vs pure smite.

All this shit is simple 4th grade algebra

The pb is the only wep than can run a ber/lo and wear rends on a cruels, sure you can make a legend sword work but you won’t be using the vita build, you’ll have some weird setup that screams I need a legend sword.

Not to mention you are in the trophy room talking about budget options, such as a non erep legend sword. Very easy to throw in a 40/15ias jewel in a legend sword. Thus allowing you to cham your helm and roll with 2x Angelics. Completely negating your low ar problem. While still doing more damage than a phase blade
