That's not entirely accurate, niche case builds are also discarded. but supply does 100% play a role, circs are the most common case for that where people compare them to d2c c-food diadems.

i have no problem with a rare wep that nearly beats ebotdz/edc, at like 95% as good you'd have to duel 100 times to notice a difference. and style > boring items. especially due to all rare leagues, which is what ALL melee should be anyways. its already an overpriced league of items not usable on other chars, might as well go full bore.
