You are comparing a fools LS vs a cruel PB.

Either way, LS has more base damage than PB. If Ed is the same between PB and LS, LS will always do more damage

At min damage levels yes the cruels pb is stronger, but the legend sword is slight better at max damage with almost a near to perfect roll.

When the ED is the same on LS or PB, LS has more damage.

Of course when you compared 400ed PB to 280ed with fools LS, the damage values weren’t matching.

Pb has average base damage of 33
Legend sword has average base damage of 39

39 > 33

I’m not sure why all this is so hard for you

I’m gonna get a legend and an a better cruels pb and use them accordingly.

There is no such thing as a better cruels pb. They are all trash.

Opting for cruel+ masters on the lowest damage 1 hand weapon is not smart.

You will get much more value out of cruel + fools on any low damage type weapon base

You cannot use a legend sword cruels on a wolf barb and still hit 6 frame and 25k ar, you will have no ds. But a fools legend sword can be used when I need the ar and ds, if I ever do.

You keep on compensating your lack of weapon damage with DS because you are using a shit weapon base.

You can still hit 6 frame barb with 40ias LS, 20ias gloves, 15ias hat, 15ias shield. While still being able to use Angelics.

LS has around 20% more base damage than phase blade, thus scaling your damage much than phase blade. And thus getting more value out of your double damage chance (critical strike + deadly strike formula above), because doubling a larger number is a larger increase.

All in all, it’s clear you don’t understand how the second simplest dueling group in d2r functions, melee. Just like you can’t seem to grasp the simplest dueling group, pure smite vs pure smite.

All this shit is simple 4th grade algebra
