No, having the 40ias on a better base weapon pays off. ias is not something you want to have to sacrifice for, bad.

You see 27 minimum dmg in weapon = Lowest bases..

And this is not pricecheck section, so 0/10 no trophy

Average damage is what matters




Elegant blade for example is worse than cryptic sword. Both are -10 bases. Cryptic has 41 average damage. Elegant blade has 39 average damage. Regardless of what the min/max is.

The problem is zealers don’t need -10 bases to hit their ias breakpoints. And using zerker gives you more damagw, more range adder while still easily hitting your ias breakpoints worh 30+ ias.

Minimum damage higher matters

Average damage matters everytine its the damage your weapon deals.
But Minimum Damage + Deadly Strike is what matters in Zeal vs Zeal, duel is like 10 Seconds mostly,
Higher Minimum damage with deadly strike is what is killing your opponent Fastest.

Zealots
Hydra edge better than Berserker axe
Legendary mallets and Seraph Rods are best

Minimum damage with deadly strike teiggering matters and wins duels.

Scourge Cryptic sword Elegant Blade all are Garbage for Zealot and garbage for anything..

Phase Blade and Fanged Knife are IAS speed weapons,
Fury Druid melee bases for speed else also Garbage..

And IAS dosent means many in Zealot too,
You can hit break easyly almost with anything.

Berserker axe is Barbarian Whirlwind weapon also usable on Concentrate. Range matters on Whirlwind not in face to face melee walk duels.

Range does matter in melee.

Zerker is better than hydra edge.

Average is average. Wether it’s 1-100 or 50-51. Higher average is better regardless of min and max values.
