To my mind the universal bad rating relates to the 19 strength, but that if it had rolled 40 life it would be rated higher? The user however has 2 circlets, each with 2/20/30/str/ thereby being able to utilize the strength mod in his build(noting the reasons why necro's look for 2, 2sox circlets). Thus i am at a complete loss as to why this is being rated 5/10 (all res can not spawn as 60 life on circlet 1 as the item already has 3 suffix's (i.e. 20/30/str).

Can someone please counter theory craft this for me, and explain, i just dont get these 4/10 and 5/10 ratings for circlet 1 (when noting he also has circlet 2). What would make a 7/10 circlet and what would make an 8/10 circlet in your eyes, and explain how your ideal "7/10 or 8/10" circlet is way better then the first one posted here.

19 strength is far inferior to 40 life (not boable)

pretty good for d2r.. you said even in d2lod these are good, which they are in fact not

idk what server you were playing on... tons of 2/20/30/50+life 15+ all res 2 socket diadems around as well as 2/20/30/60life/2 socket which I had (for nvn)

My read on the above is ~ As the necro plays with base STR, STR from circlet is not required, and therefore it is a null rating in terms of optimal/suitable mods? right ?
I must admit even with knowing that 2/20/30/2sox/all res, I cant rate that 4/10 or 5/10 or even 6/10, have to rate it higher.

The tons of circlets of lod you talked about are duped ones.

If you want to get 40 rep life on your necro,
you must take two repl suffix from your ring / ammy / circlet
if you want to max your life, you need 3 life suffix from your ring / ammy / circlet
and you will need a str suffix from your ring / ammy / circlet
total = 6 suffix

while there are:
1 suffix on circlet: 2 others are 20fcr and 30frw
2 suffix on ammy: Another are 10fcr to get 20fcr
2 suffix on ring: Another are 10fcr
total = 5 suffix

So you must give up one suffix => any 2/30/20/2os/str/life/repl are top ones.

if you think that a 2nec/20fcr/19str/9rep life ammy is a trophy ammy, this circlet is equiv
