just the skill rolls, which are really hard to get right. 3 to bear saves a lot of skill points

correct. staff mods decrease the probability of the item being found significantly, much more than having 4 good affixes with +3 nado only

4 missing affixes means this pelt is miles away from beeing a trophy. for which reason my reply stands. nothing is close about it, this pelt doesnt belong here.
