That's strange, did they give you a reason as to why they wouldn't? Seems to me blizzard could get in trouble for doing something like this , but hey who know nowadays big companies can get away with pretty much anything now

Blizzard has complete ownership of everything on their servers. They can delete anything they want. This is also the foundation of why you are not allowed to sell ingame stuff for money - you do not own it.

But ofc this seems like a silly mistake. I am sure blizzard has no interest in arbitrarily harassing their customers and will do what they can to help.

First part had no idea that was the case, but makes sense.

Pretty interesting, hopefully they can resolve this situation as termination of an account for absolutely no reason seems a little extreme, but that's just my take on the matter
