edit: even the staff mods on two of the scepters are almost 100% the same. 3/2/3 compared to 3/3/2 or something like that.

Yeah I was tempted to buy the one you have now so you couldn't have it lol, I've had mine for a long time. No hard point medi for my mage setup either.

That may be the bigger difference in our builds. I don't know what Mike has done with the stats/skills recently but i had a hard point in medi incase i was using the spirit (i think?)
