oooh now we're talking, nice to see it. i'll share another i have (lacking mastery again though). i don't like it as much but a point to fire mastery yields around 350 dmg hydras (which is, sadly, like 15 dmg per bolt in pvp lol)




pretty sure that in the end, having +3 lightning mastery on top of the other stuff usually adds just under 2x the damage boost you get from going from eschuta to a plain +6 lightning orb. it's substantial. still, i haven't seen a 3/3/3/X 20fcr 2 soc since d2lod

as far as i'm concerned, that's the best that exists ingame at the moment. one of the ones i see on another site has energy shield but i don't rly consider that a huge bonus... post yours plz, if you don't mind

as for people implying even a perfect orb wouldn't be any good, i just have to wonder if either you're not capable of pvping with a high damage light sorc or if they haven't tried.. at some point, it's like the tgods gets blasted right off your enemy. 60k+ damage with 85 max resist is 1500hp on a high roll. it's like every shot you land is 5x traps hitting someone at the same time. it won't ever be as good as the pre-1.14 days of d2lod (when you could skill bug a 105 fcr skill with lightning), but it's still quite powerful. and i'm pretty sure lightning is the fastest moving projectile a player can cast in the game.

if you think these orbs are shit even when perfect, i suggest you go to d2ga or some other such realm to try it out
