And are even more useless in d2r given the vast amounts of storage for swaps you hve now.

Ya some 08s are good. Just like crafted battle boots were good for nec and druid if 30/10/20/10/40/40

I personally don’t define 08 boots as “rare”. I define them as 08.

To further clarify, any .09 or later rare boots are useless.

It means that if you need resist stack, you hve plenty of room to get it from the variety of stash space.

Where in legacy you had much less space, thus needed to make hard decisions on gear swaps from stash. Which at least made tri res boots somewhat usable because of space management.


But if you need fire res, you are going to use infernostrides or hot spurs or just keep your aldurs on.

If you need poison stack, you would use sandstorm trek

If you need cold stack, 30/10/40 res boots are easy to get.
