Curious what the "Best" for each item slot is

*MUST HAVE PICTURES TO COUNT*

can:

-be in any format of the game (L,NL, SC/HC, xpan/classic, etc)
-be any quality (norm/magic/rare/unique/craft)
-originate from any point of the game (08, 09, etc etc)
-be duped, as long as the original was a legitimate item

cannot:
-exist by abnormal means not typically possible or standard function of the game (iths, whites, hybrids, imports, etc)
-be a hacked item in any way
-be items useful for specific chars/builds and compete against items for different specific uses (ie no +2 paly amulet vs +2 azn amulet)
-compete against dynamic items if its a class/build specific one (same as above) - UNLESS it has an arguably valid use as the competing item, ignoring the parts that make it specific (IE a +2 paladin, 5 stat, >=20 all res, +MF is essentially maras with MF

I suppose bugged items can count, but they'll be segregated from legitimate items, same applies to runewords and

I assumed this was a valid thread for TR - its against rules to make any post other than showing a trophy?

I figured asking what the absolute best is would be right in line for what's allowed here

well did you post any trophy?

as stated, i would think discussions about trophies as valid a thread as posting a personal trophy, it's called "Trophy Room" which is a very generic title, and could be (and was, by me at least) all encompassing of trophy related things

I like this idea, but stating the item that is prolly the best on d2 seems not possible. There are tons of possibilities and items.
