Orlando @ jsp here, and I would like to talk about the Grim Skewer.
This is one of my favorite weapons here on Diablo 2. I usually play on a barbarian character and I can truly say this weapon is worth mentioning.
It may not have the extra open socket like most that is why I consider this to be the best one open socket legend sword I have come across in this game.
Let's break it down,
Not only does the IAS break point for this weapon is -75 which offers a lot of different builds you can try out on but it also comes with it's own base 40 IAS.
So slap on a highlords and an extra 15 IAS jewel and your good to hit 9 frames PS.
Let's also add the 300 to ED which is the most a modifier of ED can have on this weapon.
It also has the ethereal and repairs durability mod on it which increases the base damage of the weapon and repairs the weapon as it gets damaged, pretty self explanatory.
On top of the Eth/rep mod it carries over the fools mod which increases AR and Max Damage based off of the characters level. The weapon also has a base mod of 81 additional AR points that will stack to the max of the fools mod multiplier.
The Grim Skewer is a seriously OP'd and if you get your hands on one it is a big bang for your buck. Traditional 40/300/ fools/ eth/ rep / 2OS weapons can cost upwards of 80K + and even 40/290+/ fools/ eth/rep 20s can cost nearly 40-50k.
I believe this weapon here can cost upwards of 20-25k and compete against players who have those unbelievably costly weapons.
