No serious shaper player should ever want a circlet (with or without frw). bug all of your frw, build your character right.
Somewhat. Visionary is pretty useless for the most part - the AR bonus is garbage compared to what Paladins and Barbarians get and agreed that you don't ever need to chase characters with high defense.
However, I've had great success using an FRW circ with high base all resist and slapping a couple of high resist jewels inside if facing multiple sorcs or other non-physical characters and I use Enigma at all times on my DvA. It's very situational, but they can have their uses.
