Good items, but 40/15 seems like an awful weapon socket choice.

and hm no, look:

the most people would soc a Lo-rune, but:
Lo for example would be only + ~14% chance for double dmg on a barb

but WHY 40/15?
because Fools weapons got a bad base dmg in general
and as I use Highlords more DS ain't really necessary, i prefer to have higher base dmg tbh
also 40/15 is the highest possible dmg from all jools/runes I found

ETH rune works actually fine as well. It is less dmg but more hits in average

Ber Rune works too, but it's less effective with every hit you make.

where do you have this barb image from, between blitzkrieg and art of war?
it actually looks like a d3 image, as the items skins are the same in d3

well Actually it's a d3 pic.
I just gave my barb a Grandfather and made a simple screenshot,
then came the harder part.
I added a shield by myself, and changed the whole picture until it looked like hand-drawn
this shall show a Barb like he is in d2, 2-hand sword & shield
