The barb for 2025, where most of the top items are taken by top players in eu legacy, looks good.
Normally I would give it 8/10 but for the fact that we are in 2025 and it is hard to get top items, let's make it 8.9/10

Not really that bad as you described.

Helm is super cool used by our common friend for many years, Zerk works as good as 2os!

I would have swapped corruption hold for raven (if no better rare/craft options available).

Plenty of room for Armor improvement, I bet this Barb can beat everyone currently.

ah yes & the person who socketed one of the last red jewels in to this Armor - good job
