or is it like runescape where some of the game is free? if so how much?

it's free but you have the option to buy ingame valuta ( diamonds ) which you use to buy stuffs from itemshop or sell to other players

can you geth through this game, and become good/ elite with out spending rl money?

yes all though it will take alot longer than if you would invest money in it,

my char have been 100% free as far as $$ goes
