I'm bored with playing rom so now I begin my hunt for servers with 500x experience rate and such. Anybody have any good open ones?

go play d2 in singleplayer with hero editor sounds like your style

I did that for a while. I want to do it on RoM now.

Played normal RoM for the last year and a half. Can't move up because my mage can't do anything in chapter 3 instances. Now I"m bored and until mages are fixed I want to mess around on a private server.

then you must be doing alot of things seriously wrong if you cant do any instances and been playing for 1.5 years
and " Now I"m bored and until mages are fixed" not sure if trolling here because mages are extremely useful have alot of utility ( depending on secondary/third ofc ) and at lvl65 u get like 3 or 4 skills boosted a fuckload

Intensification level 50 at lvl 65 will give you think it's like 2500 dmg compare to like a 500 dmg if you're under lvl 65
Elemental Weakness will give -0.1% mdef per level when you reach 65
Elemental Catalysis will give 50% castspeed when you reach 65 which will give you a sick boost in dps
Kiss of the Vampire ( m/r elite skill ) will give you a -30 sec cd aswell as a dot over 12 sec

and if your gear still blow and you cant even get dod ready you just farm guard dog meat and sell, on my server 99 goes for 500-650k 5 days ago they were 1.6kk per stack
and farming crimson mods is easy

45k magical attack, 50k life, t9 +13 Aok Prayer Purple, max level

Can't get any RT or higher runs because I only hit for about 50% of my max hit with fully buffed flame. (hitting for ~100k with flame when my max hit is over 200k)

I've been farming meat and crimson stats for weeks now and I'm bored with it.


So many people don't know how gimp mages are in chapter 3 instances. The magical defense on any chapter 3 mobs is ridiculous. If I could get past KT and onto Grafu and beyond I would be fine, but no RT or KT groups want a mage.
