From what I saw/heard pvp is pretty much one shot me or I one shot you which seems pretty damn stupid/not fun. I'm thinking about switching to Govinda I mean there's still Arena and Siege but I can focus on PvE and stuff... idk tbh don't want to regret switching. So what do you guys think?

its one shot if the person is that much ahead of you. otherwise it takes the old scout like 5 seconds of attacking to kill a knight of about equal skill. Now its probably more like 10 seconds.

yea but knights suck at pvp (knights & wardens = pvm only )
every one else is fairly balanced
scouts do tons of dps but have no mitigation
warrirs 2nd in dps in pvp but need to be fairly close to you
rouges = 1 shot or there dead .. they tend to do ok if they out gear u but if they dont there and easy kill
druids = long battles of bordom
mages are 3rd in dps but have 3 stuns 3 silences so they are very plyable they can stun n run they can silence and fight they can do alot of tricky stuff
i like them cuz duels requite alot of dirrent skills not just dps rotation only down fall is rouges >mage mage> every one else

scout mage is like 30 sec battle silence attack slience silence spam los them

alot of people dont understand this isnt wow
there are way more skills in rom then wow more than one hot bar
sooo u have options
the worst thing u can do is just dps each other
there is way too much midigation you miss out on

if you are skilled and even close to there gear in rom you can destroy them
but if you dont know how to play ur class i dont care how gear you are level 30 twinks can rock you

On my warrior I had 55-60 keybinds that's 60 different key combinations

Minmimum you could have and still be competitive was about 25-30

In rom you use 10 attacks maximum

diablo uses teleport and hammer/FB/Bspirit/etc. thats 2 skills. Why is the # of skills relative to the greatness of pvp.

well you also have to take into consideration the locking / chainlocking skills in d2

thats nothing you use in rom

sure chainlocking is quite simple but staying ontop of things with locking after each teleport thats not smething every can do

The pvp in Diablo is unmatched. But also the Pvp in ROM is good because its a world and theres no warning. Dual class system is awsome, customization is great, etc.

the thing is any idiot can come with really good gear as a rogue and kill you in a stun

ROM pvp is:
30% class combination
65% gear
5% Skill

And assuming both have same gear it becomes

90% Class combination
10% skill

i dunno if i can 100% agree but imo i can agree that the rouge burst damage is pretty imba
especially if he runs around on pvp servers and stab you when you like grind mobs, happened a few times to me where they just kill me be4 i get the chance to heal / holy aura/ stun / root or w/e even though their gear is pretty much way worse than my
