im lvl 47/30 S/R. I have statted gear and 6stat tomb wings. 13k hp 2.1k dex 1.9k str. These are very very high for my level. Only class ive seen that could out dps me that were my level to 5 levels higher than me has been a mage/rogue. The mage/rogue combo doesn't have the survivability of s/r though. IMO its not worth pvping in rom until your 55 other than helping your guild in SW by getting merits and planting traps. Its really not even viable to do pvp befor that, from what ive gather from about 40 1v1 matches ive done from lvl 42 to 47 on my s/r its put me up against a 60+ every match. It doesn't match you with people your level. preist/mage is good pvp combo too especially endgame. Its very very very hard to down a preist/mage and they can dot you and outheal you everytime. + they have a decent nuke/dot with the chains of light or whatever its called. check out some guides on google.
Mage + rogue combo doesnt need survivability
Go invis, use aoe spell that almost 1 shots everyone and doesn't break your stealth, win.
And I think it has been confirmed that Rogue warden is highest dps in game
