1. Why knight for a sub class?

its easy, we can use knight defensive skills and still have high DPS ( damage per second )

2. Knight skills we are interested in

Enhanced Armor - buff that enhance our defense from 5-60% ( depends on skill level ) for 5 minutes
Resilience - passive skill increasing stamina from 10-70 +6.5% ( depends on skill level )
Holy Strike - aggro skill, if we have a lot of health warrior can be off-tank ( if knight is not available )
Disarmament - skill which decrease target defense by 3% per hit - max is -12% after 4 hits

3. Elite skills

Throw Shield ES 15/15 - its almost useless skill but allows us to lure single monster from distance
Blocking Stance ES 20/20 - buff that increase our parry rate from 10-120 points for a 20 to 220 seconds ( both depends on a skill level ) - we are maxing this like passive skill
Ignore Pain ES 25/25 - skill useful in pvp ( cool down is 5 minutes ) makes us non sensitive for stun, slow etc. for 10 seconds
Shield Bash ES 30/30 - skill requires shield ( or macro ) causes 50-550 damage, decreasing critical hit resistances of target for 12 seconds - cannot be stacked with Throw Shield
Heroic Surprise Attack ES 35/35 - extra 20 rage after attack, passive skill
Concentrated Precision ES 40/40 - passive skill increasing our accuracy from 2 to 30 ( depends on skill level ) - if we dont have enough talent points we can have it 10 lvls under class level
Fierce Attack ES 45/45 - passive skill increasing effect for a Throw Shield skill - decreasing target critical hit resistances for 12 seconds
Resist ES 50/50 - passive skill increasing effect for Blocking Stance - damage reduction 7,1% ( on 55l level )

4. Warrior skills and builds.

We can be a w/k with 1 hand sword and shield or 2 hand sword ( more offensive build )

Passive skills:

Brute Strength - passive skill increasing our strength from 10 to 70 + 6,4% ( depends on skill level )
One-Hand Weapon Master - passive skill increasing our damage from one hand weapons ( without daggers ) from 5 to 40% ( depends on skill level )
2-H Weapon Master - passive skill increasing our damage from two hands weapons from 5 to 35% ( depends on skill level )

One hand weapon + shield build:

Skills:

Main combo:
Probing Attack
Open Flank
Thunder - nice damage and stun from 2 to 6 seconds ( depends on skill level )

We should use also:
Slash - target is bleeding for 2 seconds after attack with this skill ( working only with axes and swords )
Blasting Cyclone - AOE ( Area of effect skill ) target is stunned for 4 seconds

About one hand weapon and shield build:
Above build is a more defensive build ( shield gives us defense and spaces for stats, mainly we are going to put stamina stats inside shields [ HP + DEF ] ). We are going to have less damage than 2 hand weapon build.
Is this build a good choice? - in common sense it is, we can earn ~1k hp more and ~2k defense, but we are going to do less damage. This build increase our chance to be a tank for some instances ( i think max is Treasure Trove )

Two hand weapon build:

Skills:

Main combo:
those skills should be maxed in first order
Probing Attack
Open Flank
Slash
Tactical Attack

We should use also:
Moon Cleave - AOE ( Area of effect skill ) dealing damage 3 times in a row
Blasting Cyclone - AOE ( Area of effect skill ) target is stunned for 4 seconds

About two hand weapon build:
This build is a pure offensive build, we are dealing high damage cause of two hand weapon - its the only advantage of this build. Playing with 2 hand weapons allows us to get 50%+ critical rate without buffs

Additional skills:
Berserk - 30 seconds buff increasing our physical attack from 3 to 33% but decreasing our defense from 3 to 33% ( depends on skill level ) - cool down - 1 minute
Defensive Formation - 60 seconds buff increasing our defense from 500 to 5500 points but decreasing our attack and party members attack from 5 to 55% - cool down - 2 minutes
Aggressiveness - 30 seconds buff increasing rage gain from 20 to 70% - cool down - 3 minutes

5. Equipment and distribution of item statistics
We need to choose if we want to play full DPS or Stamina build.
Full DPS - we are looking for physical attack and strength stats in items
Stamina - we are looking for stamina + strength stats in items

Equipment:
We need to remember that items need to be high durability ( it will give 20% bonus to item statistics, 105+ is minimum for close combat characters )
We can use white high durability or set items

If white:
Helmet - CHAIN(+STR)
Gauntlets - CHAIN(+STR)
Chest - CHAIN(+STR)
Shoulders - CHAIN(+STR)
Leggings - LEATHER(+STAM)
Boots - LEATHER(+STR) or CLOTH(+STAM)
Belt - LEATHER or CHAIN(+STAM)

If set: we are going for full chain

6. How to play?
Its easy, we are going to level our subclass max 5 levels under main. Dont forget about Enhanced Armor and Disarmament skill ( when we are attacking with knight skills rage doesnt grow up )

Note: if anyone have any suggestions please pm me, thanks :)

W/K are not real damage dealers or tanks. They fall somewhere between these two. So don't go for pure damage or pure hit-point/stamina build. There must be a good balance between stamina/physical attack/strength/hit-points.

I would suggest this combo on any item for best result:

str/pattk
stamina/pattack
pattack/hitpoints
stamina/hitpoints
pattack/pdef

str/hitpoints or stamina/pdef or one low level str/pattk (depending upon build preference).

W/K are never supposed to use a shield. If you want to use shield play knight.

imo they should use a shield if the best available weapon for them to use is a 1-h (which happened when the SoF was released as it was better then any 2-h at the time)

meh warriors are like mages in my opinion, they're ok but scouts and rogues blow them away. I mean even with the brand new instances my guild can do it with out top 5 scouts and a r/k for aggro control and no healer in hardly no time at all. Even WA is a joke really =\
