Alright so for my first character I made a warden....Got him to lvl 11 and found out wardens suck. so I decided I was going to make him a s/wd.

I made scout my primary and holyshit I cant kill anything. Lvl 2s and 3s take about 30 seconds - 1 minute of kiting to kill, whereas other classes i've played will nearly one shot everything right away.

Am I doing something wrong? Cause this seems pretty ridiculous. My only scout skills are shot, wind arrow and autoshot, all of which I am spamming.

Tl;dr low lvl scout does shit for dmg and is really hard to kill anything my level. Wat do?

/e all of my scout skills only hit like 6...which is about 3% of the hp of what I'm fighting. If I don't kite and just tank Ill die before I get the monster im fighting to 70%

Also, how do you level your secondary or whatever? Like im lvl 11 warden and lvl 2 scout. Is switching to scout as your primary class the only way to level it?

yes

scout sucks early especially if you dont have a good bow

warden rocks until 40ish. you could always play warden for a while then switch to scout when it starts getting lame

Would a s/wd be good in end game content? Also, what classes ARE good for end game content? As that is one of my main focuses. I', thinking about making a m/p just to try everything out, but I'm scared they might be to common to get any groups.

I think warden is meant to be a support pet class (secondary). So your primary could be anything, just make sure you don't use warden as a primary.

also, pets are expensive to keep so i wouldn't suggest it.

s/wd is great for endgame. scouts are the highest single target damage currently and warden secondary boosts its damage. but if they ever nerf scouts, youll be stuck with however scouts are then, because wardens arent worth playing endgame

I heard the patch that the servers are offline for currently is nerfing scouts. Could be just a rumor could be true. Either way I would think warden would be one of the best secondarys for a scout pet+ranged dps sounds good to me. Give it a shot, if not you can always fruit of forget it.

people have been expecting a scout nerf for a couple patches now. they could at least fix the recent exploit though.

only warden primary gets a pet, but warden secondary gives good damage to a few classes, like scout or warrior.
