Lookin to get into RoM, played it WAAAY when it first came out, and didnt have the time for it. Curious as to how its developed. How's the community on the pvp servers, there good pvp, and pve? General gameplay and economy?

i started on pve server and i quite like it

first 20 lvl are bit slowl, maybe...

but after u finished that and start to play its very funny

economy is all messed up right now. Only way for new players to make gold is $$$$...

sell runes, sell pet eggs, sell other crafting material...

i see no reason why you would play on a pve server...it defeats the purpose of a online game which is to dominate other players.

Runes.. ??? lolz.. have you seen the price of low level block and aggression runes in AH?..

pet eggs??? ... rarely a golden pet egg drops. More rare are pet eggs with aptitude > 85.

crafting material ??? lolz.. only lvl60 material has some value and even that is available for mementos.

You can make gold by above ways but time taken is just too much. Its not worth it.

the best ways to make gold is based on the server...
just because 1 server has a bad economy doesn't mean the rest do

is this game more cash shop heavy than allods?

The cash shop is more for aesthetics than anything. You can't really by any gear at all from the cash shop, just things to enhance your gear, all of which you can get outside of the cash shop as well.

It is really a convenience thing...you can make yourself look better, get a mount, etc...

by runes i meant crafting runes, not socketing runes.

I'm selling 100 Blend runes at 450k+ right now. All you need to do is find monsters 3 lvls higher than you that drop these.
I'm selling rune pet eggs 70k-150k each. And other type of pet eggs at 5k-20k each.
I'm selling daily quest items at 500-1k each (99k for 99x)
