If your ratio was more reasonable more people would care, I used to buy 1fg:20k ratio before the market went up. Thats 50fg per mill or 200fg:4 mill

I've been searching the web about an hour now looking at gold sellers for Runes of Magic. So heres the break down.

Im going to use a base of $100.00 for my calculations, as it would be the normal purchase for most people. (My ratios can fit lower amounts if you want me to).

$100.00 on D2JSP is 3175 FG
$100.00 on ROM Gold seller sites mids about 40 Mill (Price is actually around 93$ but im trying to make this fair for markups).

Lets check the ratio per mill at trading standard. 3175/40 is about 79 FG : 1 Mill, you could easily make your markup 100 fg : 1 mill, your ratio is an crazy 250 fg : 1 mill. WHICH IS A 319% Markup!

So if you're willing to lower your rates to a friendly amount feel free to send me a PM, I should have a few thousand FG after i sell my Eve ISK.

you're really stretching here. you're comparing buying forum gold legitimately versus buying gold from gold sellers illegitimately. i'll break it down for you another way:

forum gold from "a questionable source" other than d2jsp: ~$10 per 1k
RoM diamonds from us.runesofmagic.com: 200 diamonds = ~$10 ~= 2 million in game gold or diamonds during double diamond sale: $10 = 400 diamonds = 4 million in game gold

so as you can see above $10 = 1k = 400 diamonds = 4 million in game gold = 1k:4m ratio

looks like my ratio is about spot on or at least fair, unlike what you're making it sound like.

In all gold trading, legit is worth at max 2x more. which would be about 150fg:1 mill. Currently diamonds are 1d:10k 400*10k=4 mill so thats right. 10$ is 260fg. thats 4,000,000/260. Which is about 1fg:15k gold. OR 66fg:1,000,000 gold.

It's actually cheaper that route, lol.

you will be sorely disappointed buying from a gold seller. (i'll let you find out why if you decide to go for it :P)

anyway, my ratio was never set in stone, i would do 1k:5m but that's about the best i'd do. artemis is the most populated and active server by a solid bit i'd say, thus the currency is most in demand there imo. i'm also in no hurry to sell as i can log into RoM 2 years from now, without a sub, and access all my stuff.
