i know frogster bans people for buying gold from spammers

if i trade gold vs forum gold or vice versa is it legal ?

Yes, these trades are perfectly legal. Your not buying and selling with gold spammers, you are trading with other characters. Gold spammers are taking actual dollars that would normally go to Frogster. This is just a means for legit players to trade between games. Just do not trade your account, only trade for in game currency and items.

these kind of trades ARE bannable as they do not list only gold spammers but they've also said ALL unauthorized outside sources

Yeah... but if they cant ban you for accepting free items.

i'd still recommend not risking it
since the same issue happened with guild wars and ya there were people banned when there was nothing mentioned at all in chat logs

well ive gotten stuff from this smoothly... i mean hell

if they actually can figure out that u bought the items rather than accepting free items from a friend then they really are being insane detectives with their logs.. the reason they figured out the arena crap was because when a pvp server has 0 guilds going into zs/hodl and suddenly someone pops up with pieces of gear from that instance it does sort of get suspicious

still even if it does go smooth i'd rather not risk losing all the time and money i've put into my account
and one of issues for guild wars was people were actually reporting the players they traded with occassionally, which led to perm/temp bans and/or removal of purchased gold/items or remaining gold/items

i guess if youre dealing with people like that then lol.. what can you do, all up to you i guess

most of jsp are trustworthy people who wouldnt screw someone over like that if they have a decent amount of posts/gold and a good rep
