pvp is in arena's only in non pvp servers.

pvp in pvp servers you have "a chance" to drop a piece of gear thats non protected. you can protect upto 8 pieces of equipment.

Which is why I play PvE Server Osha lol. My gear is worth too much to take the chance to loose it Also you still can Siege and duel and go into the arena so it is not just fighting monsters pvp is still very fun
