I'v never had a kid but from observation i noticed the women that decide to keep it who are sometimes conflicted almost never regret it. The child is born and the bond between mother and child strengthens. I would say mothers have an instinctual compass in them that says hey i spawned this, i love it, even though 6 months ago i would of gotten rid of it.

I'v actually dated a girl that had an abortion. She was 18 when she had it and she was still nostalgic by it at 26. We've had discussion on abortion before i knew this and she was visibly saddened by what she did.

If murder wasnt illegal, assumedly more people would murder. What is your point?

That’s the point, if you ban abortions they won’t ‘decide to keep it’, you will force them to.

Don’t care about your mom and exes though. I can give you a bunch of anecdotes too.

A mother in the US today can give up a infant up for adoption fairly easily. They are highly desirable at that age.

If there's no incest/rape/health reasons own up to the consequences and carry the child. When you birth it, if you love it, which is overwhelmingly the case, you keep it. If you don't want it, give it up to another loving family, that simple.

It's really not anecdotal at all, many women who go for abortion regret it. Many women who also birth the child that maybe previously wanted to abort it also end up keeping it.

Its the exact same comparison you made.

In no way is it an argument or an answer to the point being made.



Your vision is overly simplistic. Do you expect people to adopt 650,000 kids every year?

People intend to abort bebe but don't because its illegal

It's like you're not even reading part of my responses. The mother that carries the baby for 9 months, sees it crying, moving, etc. is a lot less likely to give it because of the instinctual bond compared to 6-7 months ago when it wasn't even a bump.

That 650,000 figure would be no where near close the amount of babies that would be put up for adoption.
