think he may have been talking about the stalling that occurred when Garland was nominated by Pres Obama in 2016

Speaking of which Drumpf should nominate Garland next as a troll. most obvious bait ever but the usual suspects will call Garland the next coming of Hitler

ahhhh yes in that context Mitch and co did well.

He should nominate HRC so she can make a fool out of herself and continue to make Trump look good.

nominate her in late 2019 or early 2020 so the lefties can twist themselves into a pretzel: “hey drumpf is only doing this so she cant run against him!!!!! its her turn, again!!!! impeach!!!!!”

i honestly think if HRC runs in 2020 it will cause a literal fracture of the DNC with bernie bros starting a whole new party that never gets folded back under the DNC umbrella. that's of course assuming they cheat to let her win again, i dont think she can even beat bernie.

How about a coma where you'd wake up in 9 months? Abort you because it makes your life easier & saves medical bills?

so 50-50? he did nominate Gorsuch. it's not like congress can write-in.

A Republican President filled a Supreme Court vacancy with a Conservative Justice. You could have swapped Trump for any average replacement Republican president and they would have done the same.

Yes, that's my point. Trump didn't "save" the SCOTUS from a liberal or left-leaning Justice. If anyone did, it was McConnell - especially if you consider how he blocked the filibuster for the confirmation.

i thought you meant strictly the appointment of Gorsuch, but with further context i see and accept your point.

Upon further reflection, I could also see the point that Trump "saved" the seat from a Liberal justice in the sense that another replacement Republican candidate might not have won the 2016 election.

For instance, would Marco Rubio or John Kasich beat Hillary Clinton in 2016? It's a question of a gain in net favorability vs influence in the Rust Belt.

In hindsight, Trump was probably the best bet for the GOP to win (and therefore "save" the SCOTUS from a left-leaning Justice).

Are you talking about your entire lack of argumentation? Coma and pregnancies aren’t the same.

It has the potential to fertilize an egg and result in life.

Sperm has the potential to, yes, but it [the fertilization of an egg] hasn’t happened yet.

..like it has in the fetus that gets destroyed in an abortion.
