Have you compared them to Bose QC35's?
I'd be interested in knowing what the difference is in sound quality and comfort over extended listening periods (4+ hours)

Yes I have, The Bose only won on being slightly more comfortable, but the sound on these are definitely better.

I've been using them for 2 weeks on vacation. Oh boy they've been a pleasure to use!
Specially on the 24 hours car ride, Where i used them in sessions of over 8 hours. Haven't felt any pressure on my ears or on the top of my head.
I have fairly small ears, something you might have to take into consideration.
The ANC technology is quite amazing. I'm only able to hear voices when there is no music on, but can't really tell what they are saying.
Car noise and the running AC was completely gone!

My favorite feature is when you put your hand up to the right ear cup it turns the volume down and disable ANC until you remove the hand again.

I've actually been looking to buy a pair of Bose QC35 IIs

They never seem to go on sale though :( Anyone know a location that they go on sale at? I don't want to pay $449.99 CAD

I find that the WH-1000XM2 offers pretty suboptimal NC to be honest, was expecting more when I bought them

i'm literally using them right now and they are making milkshakes next to me, people are talking, and i'm farting my ass off bc i put milk in my god damn coffee

and i can't hear any of it...same thing when i'm flying, i literally can't hear anything (maybe occasional snippets if something is on the PA, but not always)

in fact i can't even hear the click click click of my keyboard as i type this...

are you sure you were using the ANC mode? it has ambient, off, and ANC modes...

i'm not trying to support this product just because i own it, i just literally don't understand how you can ask for much more in ANC?
