Saying no, all skills need a buff but the potential this has to be game breaking is too high IMO.

If you make it so skilling profs lose on death, then people are just going to have more accounts with skills that dont climb... isnt really a big deal

alot of people do that anyway just so they can leave the character at high levels where they can use the really good EIS/ML gear

Extra equipment slots and magic luck

They can, he means they don't mq and restart at lvl 1, just stay high lvl.

I do group climbs
I nearly almost always skill after everything. Transmute, glyph + suff some things for future climbs.

It's easy for hardcore players to say that this is a good idea. It's COMPLETELY irrelevant. Why are you so interested in something that affects you in no way. I like doing everything on my main character. I like to explore and sometimes I die in very dangerous climbs. I enjoy playing all aspects of the game including hardcore sometimes.

If dying caused loss of skilling proficiency I would no longer skill. Stop worrying about something that doesn't affect anyone in a negative way just to fuck the rest of us over.

This suggestion is like me suggesting that when people die on hardcore there chars should be deleted immediately... this doesn't affect me in any way. It's none of my business. Could y'all use your brainpower for some more useful suggestions. BLAM!

Oh... I dont see why they wouldn't skill even if it's high level anyways... You don't have to do the quest and you can whistle any monster with ease at that level.

Meh I don't understand it but doesn't matter regardless :p

The suggestion of adding bonuses for people who invest a lot of time into skilling is great. Any bonus should be welcome and added. MOst things are thousands of hours skilling for very little benefit.

I solo
I do group climbs
I skill all the time on my hardcore climber.
I even play softcore and copy bob888 sometimes.
I will totally keep skilling if my climber dies,
But I'm not down for this change either.
