Dems caved as mentioned above. They didn't want the govt. shutdown to affect their chances for this years elections.


/e Dems didn't get anything either. Just a promise to at least listen to them...which means nothing.

CHIP gets 6 years. Government reopens, no other concessions except McConnell promises to look at immigration(DACA). He has 3 weeks to come to a deal or it'll close again. But at least the children are fine for 6 more years. Can't use soldiers or children for the narrative anymore.
