I normally hate scifi, but I loved this show and finished it in 3 days... Looks like I am going to have to read the book now, didn't know it was a book before finishing the show either. Not going to lie, the final episode had me tearing up.

Excellent show... just finished it. One of the best I've watched in awhile.

Just finished watching it.

Loved it! :)

If they do another, this one was a good beginning to story for main character.

Yeah but I would prefer a totally different storyline within the realm of the show

I enjoyed it alot for the most part but I feel like they should've shown less of the envoys and kept them more mysterious, I was hyped as fuck about them at the start before I saw them as regular dudes training, having cheesy conversations and then going insane. The premise of the show was also fucking with my head a bit, I mean if you're killed and they just stick your memories and personality into another body well... you're still dead... it's just that now some other guy is walking around thinking he's you. So I was sorta thinking about this everytime people were just casually jumping between sleeves and not making a big deal out of it, like nah mate you're about to fucking die how are you not skeptical about this shit at all.

I really dug this show. I like the concept a lot, as it's fairly different than most of the stuff on TV. The biggest beef I have is with the very end, where Kovacs is going off to find the backup of Quellcrist Falconer. It seems to fly in the face of her revelation that she was the creator of the stack, and hated what it became, and wanted to end it all. Bringing her back in a new sleeve seems to be anathema to her wishes, although it certainly provides the basis for season two.
