Was absolutely fantastic. Never read the book prior to watching, but I heard they changed a lot. Went and read the book today, there was quite a bit changed and yes the book was much better than the tv series but the tv series was still great.
Glad it was renewed for season 2, started reading the second book and it's a completely different setting. It'll be interesting to see how they adapt the second book.

I also plan on reading them now

yeah it was okayish for a while with alot of useless shit which should get cut out, until the sister revealed herself, then it turned to trash real fast
