You realize that all the heroes in Marvel movies are unstoppable right? None of them ever run into any trouble with the villian. The only "drama" is internal conflict within the group. It's boring as shit.
Ahh we could easily stop the bad guy but we need to spend half the movie angry at Tony! What a city is falling, guess we better go stop the bad guy.
Also as for "no good movies out" why not see wonder? The most critically acclaimed movie in theaters right now, but no explosions so you'd get bored right?
That describes like 2 movies that i can think of..
you're literally posting in a thread about a movie where the villain was too powerful to be beaten by the title character, i mean, he even lost an eye trying to fight her

I ended up going to see this in theaters. Was out doing some Christmas shopping at the mall and decided I wanted to see a movie to kill a few hours before going home. There isn't shit playing right now, so I figured I'd give this a chance. Funny thing, I guess my parents went to the same theater, and saw the same movie 2 hours before me, and we didn't know the other person was there until I saw them the next day.
I stand by what I originally though about it being a mediocre at best film, but it was better than I thought it would be. They tried wayyyyy too hard throughout the movie, but they were still able to force a couple of laughs out of me. I enjoyed the Matt Damon cameo, and Jeff Goldblum was just amazing. Rock dude would have been funny if they would have just gone with it for that first interaction, and then dropped it. Too much of a mildly funny thing, kinda kills it. It was an above average Marvel movie, but still nothing special.
6.5-7/10
biggest problem with the movie imo, the snake story was a crackup though
also you call the movie mediocre at best but then give it a 7/10? maybe your standards are just too high?
