That’s quite the viewpoint for a movie that’s not even in theaters yet.

Additionally, that’s quite the negative viewpoint that’s already receiving very high ratings, which one can rationally generalize as being quite better than trash.

He is excited because it has a high freshness score before it's released lol.

Also lol because he cares about rt.

Any scoring system can be used to one’s discretion.
A 98% is likely to have a very high chance to be well received by the general audience.

It’s common sense, really.

So yes, ratings can be used favorably. For instance, ratings are one factor of whether I will see a movie in theatres vs waiting for Netflix dvd, or dvd purchase.

The rt freshness score is probably the most understood thing on the entire internet.

I understand the scoring completely.

You can compare to other scoring systems to see general accuracy.

Scoring systems, ratings and reviews for ANY product at merely references for consumers.....key word, reference, and references are opinions.

Seeing a 98% or a 9/10 scoring movie shouldn’t provoke someone’s first thought as the movie being trash......it should provoke the notion of......hey, there’s a higher chance that an audience will enjoy this movie....

Comparing those two things shows me that you don't understand the freshness rating.

Honestly this is a movie subforum and 50% or more don't understand rt, now think about that for the rest of the world.
