Funnily enough the one semester he had 8 a.m. classes or work every morning and stayed up the rest of the day his insomnia went away.
He couldn't figure it out, then I pointed out he developed good sleep hygiene for the semester he wouldn't believe me.
Next semester his first class was at 12:15 p.m. "because of my insomnia".
"Went away" ya my wife accuses me of faking it too, yes its easier to sleep after 40+ hours of exhausting stress, insomnia doesnt "go away" when you sleep, you just happened to catch a minute where your mind fucks off enough you can sleep a while. Ive gone through stretches where i sleep every three days even through a busy schedule, there is just nothing i can do about it.
