Most of them are jacked up on stimulates, drugs, and unhealthy lifestyles which allows the unrealistic shapes anyway.

make it a sport and bring in usada and watch the body types become a lot more realistic

A sport in what way?

That's fine and all, but it's really not the topic at hand

I'm saying that there is not necessary a correlation between one's appearance and their health.

You seem to be implying that my attempt to disassociate appearance from health is some sort of fat acceptance, which is not the case.

i'd agree that there is no necessary correlation, though height to weight ratios are often reliable indicators of health which is why doctors rely on them

most people aren't atheletes

they have annual health checks administered by doctors in japan via laws requiring employers to make them available to their employees

employers face penalties if their employees aren't doing too well so they'll encourage employees towards healthier lifestyle choices, it's a good system imo

Japan does almost everything right tbh, a great society

not perfect, but one of the best

The US should probably worry about the glamourization of obesity.

I don't think France has that problem in any way or shape. People here joke a lot about French women that don't shave and have sweaty armpits, but I don't think there's much room to talk shit when 40% of your women are obese.

- girls were overbidding each others in a competitive & morbid fashion, doctors said they were too thin...

- the law is latin style instead of anglo saxon style; it's more flexible and it's not possible to attack someone for 1 million dollars because he/she farted in the same room than you.

Employers breaking the law could face fines of up to 75,000 euros and up to six months in jail.

You said skinny, they said unhealthy, which is it? I think the OP is fake news.

If they had morbidly obese women modeling you wouldn't like it and would say it was unhealthy. Same for anorexia and bulimia.

Why are you against healthy bodies in modeling?
