She has to want and accept treatment. If the addict doesn't want to stop using drugs it will never happen. I agree that we should help any addict that wants help. Have a lot of experience in this subject unfortunately.

At this point it is more about personal boundaries and not enabling that person while they are still precontemplative.

I work in this field and usually people aren't ready for change until they're here with me in the emergency room.

jimmy cant actually save many kids wsith 35million if you ever have emergency heart surgery its quite expensive 250k+ and thats not factoring the neo natal care etc.
we have snap for food for kids
and section 8 for homes
