This is a modernized and flattening world. North Korea gets their weaponry from China. China has access to get weaponry from really any country they want whether backchannelling or just legally buying/creating them. I have zero doubt in my mind that North Korea has top tier modern nuclear weapons and missiles.

Regardless why would they do something that is guaranteed to have them wiped off the earth too? I just don't see it happening.
