hopefully Obamacare gets fixed up now that it's obvious this administration is weak af and we won't be going too far down the republican hole long term

wait till the wall comes up next and poor people find out how much that one will cost them

So you'd want them to wait until the 2018 budget? They aren't going to get 60 votes in the Senate, you know that right?

I don't want them to do anything, their plan is objectively worse than Obamacare. Their #1 response to any negative numbers was "this is just the first phase, then we'll do phase 2 and phase 3(which would require 60 votes).

Unfortunately even if Hillary was elected, the Republican congress would be unwilling to adequately fix Obamacare. The lack of serious bipartisanship really hurts our country.

I'm not sure where it would even begin both sides are so full of their own bullshit

Graham and McCain like to play middle men for the crowd but eh

I'm not too pleased with any of them at the moment.

It would be insanely interesting to see how the talk radio/Fox News people would react if Trump worked with Democrats. So far Hannity/Laura Ingraham have taken the "oppose the healthcare bill but don't criticize Trump" route.

honestly a weak administration can possibly be the most effective administration for the greater social benefit. a government which yields total control of legislation runs the precariousness of unjust or unfair policies implemented. the bill was bad. there isn't any good contingency. this isn't actually a negative concept. this literally forces both sides of the party to come together and create a fair remedy

The next fight will be tax reform, and the same far-right people who stopped healthcare reform might stop that. I don't think Trump will play nice next time.
