Problem becomes how do you maintain civility towards the largest current religion when they so clearly have a huge number of fundamentalists that plot the destruction of the infidel, while simultaneously trying to root out these more violent, fundamentalists

The writing is beautiful, the art and math and science that the history of the religion promoted is wonderful (many of the golden ages of science/art/mathematics were in Muslim territories and heavily influenced by Islam), the mystical aspect of the religion (Sufism) is among the strongest of any developed religion outside of the East, it is arguably the purist monotheism of the remaining religions and has much theologically interesting in it, etc.

it's trump vs merkel
nationalism vs golobalism

trump praising the American flag while merkel being disgusted by the German flag
in this context it's meant to express the different political leaders ideals and methods when it comes to islam

Hmm. I'd have to watch this with a different mindset then being German. Is this sort of a debate with the question of "loving your flag vs hating the other persons flag" and the differences between?

I said things of value, you said values.

Although if you want me to answer that question too, Zakāt, or charity, is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, and anyone who talks to Muslims hears all the time about the sort of charity Muslims regularly engage in.

edit: I see where you're coming from. Trump is completely unashamed, whereas Merkel wants to hide our pride fearing what I can only assume is nationalistic pride.
