pretty sure its shrined or deleted, there been other reported incidents like this when trying to vault or something on phone. the item i shrined can still be seen in the link, dunno how long it takes to update.

Kind of similar to what happened to a random 55 I had. I had the item in the deposit slot to place it in to the vault and something weird happened when I was auto invited to a group.
The item no longer existed.

There should be no ''auto-invite'' as such that will drag you unwillingly into a group.
You have to make a positive decision to join the group by clicking on it in the group list

Auto invite is a feature of the game ladder slasher.

You still have to accept the invite no?

The only way to not receive an invite is to disable looking for party as far as I know.

Correct, but the auto-invite not generate an auto-accept on your part.
That has to be a deliberate act by you in order to join that party
