back the days when i actively played once in a while some ppl also claimed to have lost items without having done anything to it. they always got told "u must have shrined, skilled, transferred or sold it". always. as far as i remember there was no official statement.
if its a display bug u can try the following: fill up the char with items and see if one empty slot remains and cant be filled. this would mean the item is still there and fills the slot, but its invisible.
i had this once. my inventory showed full (xx/xx), but there was an empty slot... i were not missing an item, though, because the char was just wearing skillables.
Thank you; this info helps IMO. I did check for visual bug but that is usually cured by a refresh. Also there is no hidden item that I can detect because all slots are accounted for.

For iPhone and safari version, I'm using an iPhone 4S (yeah it's a relic) as for Safari version, I'll take a look and see if I can find out.
And yes, while I'm sad that I'm out what I value as 6.5k fg + 2 months searching for a replacement heal, but I made the post because I want to know the reason this happened, so that Paul knows what to fix, and then I don't have to live in fear that at any moment another one of my items may poof...
