Strictly speaking, the electoral college was made so rural dumbfucks couldn't elect a buffoon with no experience or prospects. Some could argue this was exactly the purpose of the electoral college.



The only reason he is going to win is because of the electoral college, otherwise he would have lost. It would be somewhat ironic for him to then lose because of the electoral college.

Nuclear civil war? Where do civilians get their hands on nukes and who is going to nuke their own country? Really dude. Don't be such a drama-queen. It wouldn't even cause a civil war. Pence would take over and everything would carry on as normal.

The entire American voting system is a sham anyways. Doesn't exist anywhere else in the world and look who's elected president because of it.

You're talking about overthrowing the democratic government of the USA in a coup. That means the military is going to step in, with fractured loyalties.
You don't simply deny the results of the democratic election on a national stage and pretend it has no repercussions. Tanks roll into the Kremlin for less than that.

If Trump was denied the presidency by rigging the electoral college against him, every gun toting patriot in the country would be in the right to occupy washington and violently overthrow the usurpers, because what you're discussing is the total breakdown of democracy. And in every historical precedent, when the government breaks down, its the armed might that fills the vacuum, whether its a military stepping in or revolution. And these sort of tend to spiral out of control, should I remind you that the last civil had the proximate spark provoked by secessionists who refused to accept lincoln's election? And they wanted self-governance, not control of the north
