most of my muslims friend's family didn't show up because it goes against their traditional religious values

i could sense that this made him extremely upset on the inside :/

that's his problem not theirs.

attended my first gay wedding today between a muslim friend of mine and his white christian boyfriend

the most remarkable thing about this wedding was that it was entirely religious - references to jesus on the christian side and god (allah) on the muslim side throughout the mixed ceremony

personally i hadn't thought before today it's possible to remain devoutly religious and gay at the same time but it looks like it's possible

the religions are evolving to keep up with the times :o

-sadly most of my muslims friends family refused to attend the wedding and it was only his parents and siblings who were there from his family

That's very cheerful and harmonious, but it does openly go against both religions. I wonder how many attendees were devout.

There's also the statistic that 80% of gay couples cheat on their spouses.
