seeing what happened with my muslims friends family i'm glad the parents were progressive enough to accept it, if they weren't this could have ended in suicide or murder the way it usually does in brown families

Lol, what a silly idea to compare sexual lust with love in general. I love plenty of people who I don't feel sexually attracted to.

I completely agree. Homosexuality and Abrahamic religions are incompatible. The Jewish community tends to be more accepting of homosexuality than the others but the Torah clearly condemns it.

I can't wait for 50 years from now when religious crowds cherry pick the few progressive churches and say they were always on the forefront of progress on the issue of gay and trans rights.
