buying this truck on friday not bad imo considering all it needs is either the carb rebuilt or a new one. (they rebuilt the carb but didnt do it right and now it wont pump fuel lol)

every one thinks there 83 what ever the fuck it is that dosent run is a classic thats only gaining value and they want $2500

Long as the rust is surface its definitely a good buy

dont waste your time rebuilding it, get a re-manufactured carb from holley for the low and simply bolt it on lol

its already got a holley on it thats why rebuilding it is a option

find someone who knows how to work on a quadrajet and it will run like a brand new one. most people just cant really tune them because they dont know how so they call them junk and buy a new carb for its shininess.




same in kentucky except around here they are roached out pretty bad and people still think they have a gold mine. start bragging on their 305 with exhaust made from a kids swingset or some shit they think it has 600hp

well got it to turn over under its own power earlier with another carb i had sitting around, but to do that i had to jump the truck because the battery was toast lol. now i have to rebuild the carb and give this another shot in morning. il try and get some pics and vids while i do it and prob start a build thread.

Short bed (made from a sectioned long bed) i mean it was bad, and he was very firm at 1500 ( i wouldnt have taken it home for free )
